It’s time to transition your home from fall to winter! I decided to take the wooden wreath I had from fall and revamp it to give it that rustic Christmas look. It’s amazing to see how one item can look so different with just a few changes. Here is a simple DIY project to get you in the holiday spirit!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

– Wooden Wreath

– Burlap Ribbon

– Various flowers/ sprigs/ pinecones

– Wire Cutter

– Scissors

– Glue gun

STEPS:

  1. Wrap the burlap ribbon around the wreath leaving gaps in-between.
  1. Cut the flowers and sprigs, then place around the wreath to your liking.
  1. To finish off the look, create a big bow with the ribbon and tie it to the top.

There you go, a simple and festive DIY project to get your home holiday ready. This took me about 20 minutes to make and cost under $10! That’s a bargain! You can do so much with a simple wooden wreath, giving it a different look every time. Get those creative juices flowing this holiday and see what you turn out with! Happy crafting!
